Ex Students of Parramatta High School Donald Richmond Horne
Donald enrolled at Parramatta High School in 1935 having transferred from Maitland High School when his father
was appointed headmaster at Westmead Public School. He was less than enthusiastic about our school as he reveals
in his autobiography The Education of Young Donald.
They say time heals all wounds. Donald returned in 1979 as guest speaker at the school's prize day.
