Here are four versions, all taken from precisely the same viewpoint.

Both cups are roughly 200mm across. The field of this photo is roughly 500mm.

This photo was entirely illuminated by the phosphorescence of the mushroom.
Exposure was 4 minutes at f/4, 400ASA.

This one was illuminated principally by subtle flash - held away from the camera,and "bounced" off nearby foliage.

This is a combination of "self"-illumination (4 minutes) and indirect flash.
