In the immediate foreground, the school oval occupies the left hand of the photo. The two cricket nets and the long-jump pit can be seen in the SE corner. A little further to the right is one of the two basketball courts. Above and to the right is the staff car park. The building in the bottom right hand corner (NW corner) is the library/ science block. Above this (in the photo) is the assembly hall and canteen.
Pitt Street runs right across the photo about one third of the way up. Campbell Street runs away from the camera in the centre of the photo.
Halfway up the left-hand side, St John's cemetery is the green patch dotted with myriad headstones and tombs.
(Incidentally, here is a link to another "aerial" shot (thumbnail at left) taken from the roof of 15 Campbell St - the bluish block of units which dominates the centre of the horizon - showing a clearer view of St Johns Cemetery.) 24k
Taken some four months later, here is a nicer shot of St John's Cemetery in late-afternoon sunlight.

A portion of Parramatta's CBD and retail area can be seen "above" St John's. Residential towers occupy the centre right-hand side of the photo.
In between the two towers, on the horizon, you can just make out the towers of Sydney's CBD, some 20km distant.
