The first kite used on this site was a 12 sq ft flowform,
homemade of course, a very satisfactory inflatable "parafoil"-style kite. |
 |
I liked the 12 sq ft model so much I built a
30 sq ft flowform. This is a great kite, especially in a decent
breeze, when it can lift a payload of a few kilos with ease. |
 |
The Delta Conyne is a framed kite, unlike the two
inflatables above. It is particularly handy in lighter winds. |
 |
This kite, a Rokkaku has not yet lifted a photographic
payload. With the school badge emblazoned on its face, it is more a subject
of photography than a vehicle for it. |
 |
This kite, like the Rokkaku above, has not yet lifted a photographic payload.
The Conyne, however, deserves a place of pride here
as it is the progenitor of the lovely Delta Conyne
(also above). See it here, next to the moon. |
