By 1955 the badge had evolved (and simplified) to this image which appeared
on the cover of the School Magazine for that year.

This slightly reworked version appeared in the early sixties. This remained, until recently, the "standard" badge which was routinely used on correspondence and other paperwork. |

In keeping with the sentiments of modern times, and the warm and fuzzy
desire to be keeping our logo and image always fresh and
sympathetic with the fashions of the day, the current
web designer would like to
present the design at left as the next logical step in the evolution of our badge. The new motto is discussed elsewhere. |
As any graduate of Harvard would surely tell you, the suggestion above represents an
innovative and proactive marketing thrust, destined to project the
corporate image of our product solidly into the twenty-first century and
the new millennium.
Sometimes, however, the temptation is overwelming.
A good teacher, of course, recognises that sarcasm is a bitter form of irony - the lowest
form of wit -
and should be avoided.
