Reunions
Each year Parramatta High School welcomes the return of its ex-students.
Reunion groups and individuals visit the school and remember their days of youthful exuberance in these hallowed halls......

The Class of '61

In September 2001, students from 1957-61 gathered to reminisce about their old school days. On the Saturday evening a dinner was held at the Rosehill Function Centre. The old school song was sung and the houses chanted their war cries once again - with Batman victorious.

A picnic was held at the school on the Sunday and the students wandered the halls and classrooms (this time without the prefects looking on), marvelling at the lack of change since they last attended.

There was interesting memorabilia on display - photographs, badges, sports awards, etc.

The group presented the school with a framed copy of an aerial photograph taken about 1950 of the school and its surrounds. The full photograph can be seen here.

It was an honour to have as special guest Mr Cullen a Science teacher of the time, who at 95 years young shared his memories of his teaching days at the school.
