Fax Mentis Incendium Gloriae
as enunciated by Willy Wonka
In the 1971 Warner Bros production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Willy (played by Gene Wilder) has occasion to read from a spurious contract the terms and conditions of his "free chocolate" offer. The contract, intended to obfuscate, contains a number of Latin expressions.

Following is an excerpt from the dialogue:

WILLY: "...shall forfeit all rights, privileges and licences herein and herein contained, etcetera etcetera, fax mentis incendium gloriae culpum, etcetera etcetera, memo bis..."

Watch, and listen to Willy saying our motto...
